Request: Large Amounts Of Wool (Wirksworth DE4) Wanted Large Amounts Of Wool MHI have a small team of ladies that create Crochet items for us to sell using donated wool. Money raised from this is now allowing us to set up various types of groups in Wirksworth and surrounding areas, to support the mental health of the community. On top of this, MHI & Wild Roots Creative have teamed up to start a new Crochet, Knitting and general crafts group, Starting Soon in Wirksworth. We are looking for large donations of wool, to help set us keep our fundraising going and support the creative group.. If you have any wool you are happy to donate, please do get in touch with what you have and we can collect, as long as you’re not too far from Wirksworth, depending on amount. Request: Wool, Crochet Hooks & Knitting Needles (Wirksworth DE4) Withdrawn Wool, crochet hooks & knitting needles for a new creative group. 'Mental Health Intitiative' and 'Wild Roots Creative' have teamed up to start a new crochet, knitting and general crafts group ''Creative Carriage'', starting September in Wirksworth. The group will be run for free to anyone wanting to try new crafts once a month, potentially twice a month if demand is there. We are looking for large donations of wool, crochet hooks and knitting needles, to help set us off. If you have any of the above you are happy to donate, please do get in touch with what you have and we can collect, as long as your not too far from Wirksworth, depending on amount. Request: Clothing, CDs/DVDs/Games Etc., For Mental Health Initiative (Wirksworth DE4) Expired After the success of the last 9 months raising over £1500 for Macmillan and RSPCA, Wirksworth Colts Community are now teaming up with the Wirksworth Mental Health Initiative to help finanically support them and the Young Futures Programme. We would be happy to take donations of the following which we will then sell on to raise funds for these two incredibly important local causes. We can take..... Clothes (Good condition, no underwear please) CDs, DVDs Games + Console Mobile Phones Tablets + eReaders Other items considered, so please feel free to ask. We will be running this from June 2024 - May 2025, so please keep us in mind when having a clear out. Hope to hear from you soon.

We have various projects we have started, all aiming to raise funds for Wirksworth Mental Health Inititive and the Young Futures program. Fundraising Wirksworth DE4) Expired Wirksworth Colts Community are raising funds for Macmillan ward Derby and RSPCA Chesterfield in honour of our founder who sadly passed away this summer. We will be continuning this for the next 2-3 months. Your support so far has been incredible and we have raised a very nice total so far through this and other events. We can take Clothing, cds, dvds, Games consoles and games (no matter the age), mobile phones (working, modern touch screen only) and Tablets/E readers etc. All will be cashed In to raise funds.
