Free: Handheld mixer with accessories (El Cerrito Plaza) Gifted For cooks, mixologists, and those looking for something smaller than a blender. bamix of Switzerland brand handheld mixer set. Set includes the corded mixer, 4 "blades," "processor," two containers, and holder which can be wall mounted. "Blades" are: multipurpose (standard), whisk for whipping, beater for beating, aerating, and emulsifying, and meat mincer. "Processor" is the container on lower left of set photo which is for grinding dry or moist foods; has its own blade. This can be used for herbs, making breadcrumbs, grains and seeds, hard cheese, etc. Nesting containers 800 and 400 ml volume--make your smoothie right in the container. I have been using these for years but recently graduated to a cordless immersion blender with its own accessories and need the space in my tiny kitchen. bamix products have been manufactured by hand in a small Swiss town for 70 years. Given my brother's dental situation, he has tried several electric toothbrushes and finally ended up being recommended by the dentist to use a Waterpik. As a result, giving away two different electric toothbrushes. See previous post for other one.

Free: Compact electric typewriter (El Cerrito Plaza) Gifted Looking to go old school? Want to type up docs that hackers can't access? Have sheets of labels that don't fit into your computer's printer? Here's your answer. This Brother model CE-50 typewriter is working and ready to go. There's a ribbon and correction tape installed. Additional new correction tape roll comes with it. The case snaps on the top of the typewriter. Has a carrying handle. Cord stows away in its own covered nook in the back. I last used it to type up recipe cards a few years ago.

Free: Very Small Slow Cooker (El Cerrito Plaza) Gifted Cooks brand 1.5 quart slow cooker. This little guys has a removable crockery insert and clear glass lid. Settings are off, low, and, high. One of the handles has broken off, but could be replaced. It is good for keeping things warm. I used it for keeping chocolate liquid during candy making.

Free: KN-95 Masks (El Cerrito Plaza) Gifted 4 unopened and 1 opened bags of masks. Harley brand. As noted in the photo, the package says 95% filtration efficiency. Folds in the middle with metal nose piece. Has ear loops. These are just too small for my face. Unopened bags have 10 masks. The opened bag has 1 or 2 missing. I gave them a try, but too tight.

Free: Internal frame backpack (El Cerrito Plaza) Gifted Whether you are hitting the trail or touring the world, this Lowe internal frame backpack can take you there. It's led a full life doing both and has been bored hanging around my attic. My photos weren't great, so let me know if you have questions. Here's a description, too. It's light brown/dark tan color with black straps. There's two main compartments approx 10"x11". The upper one is top load, has drawstring closure and a lid that closes over it. Zippered pocket on lid. Second compartment is zippered, accessed from the front. On both sides are good sized zippered compartments. Straps and hipbelt are padded and there's a padded back panel. Overall height is is 18" but will expand higher.

Free: 35mm camera (El Cerrito Plaza) Gifted Exakta VX IIa 35mm SLR film camera with black leather case and light meter. Made by Ihagee in Dresden, Germany (formerly East Germany). This model was produced between 1956-63. The camera was owned used and by my grandfather in the 60s and perhaps beyond. It has been sitting unused in a closet probably since the late 70s except for some brief use in the early 80s. It was working then and should still be. It appears to be in very good condition. I don't know anything about cameras, so I probably can't answer questions about it, but there is a very informative article at . Apparently, these were used by professionals and serious amateurs. I hope it will go to a home where it will be used and appreciated, but it could also be an excellent prop given its classic styling and looks.

Free: Artificial Christmas tree (El Cerrito Plaza) Gifted Giving away a 7 foot Alberta Spruce style artificial Christmas tree. Preattached branches. 44 inches wide. Belonged to my parents but when my brother moved in with them and had his own, they didn't need two. According to my brother, the lights on this one aren't currently lighting. This may be an issue of operator error or the need to replace a fuse. If all else fails to fix this, you could just put your own string of lights on it.
