Cabinets or lockers (White Cross, LA1) BayShare.uk is a new library of things that will lend all sorts of useful items to you for very little money. We are setup with a unit in White Cross, but would like to have electronic lockers around Lancaster/Morecambe to promote our service and let people borrow popular items without making a special journey. We would like something with a few doors on that we can add electronic locks and a screen to, for self-service borrowing. The pictures show what custom-made electronic lockers look like, but we would rather upcycle some wooden furniture! Racking and/or euro boxes (White Cross, LA1) BayShare is a new library of things, where you can borrow all sorts of things very cheaply. We need metal racking and euroboxes to store everything. If you have any going spare, this would save us spending money, that could buy more things for the library, on this equipment. for more information about our community project.

Yarn (White Cross, LA1) Received Our group has just been given funding for a beautiful, new 24" wide rigid heddle loom and we need to bump up our stocks of yarn suitable for weaving (wool, acrylic, cotton or mixed; any weight or length) so that we can make the best use of it. If you are interested in weaving, bring some scrap yarn down to us and see what you can do with it using our many sizes and types of loom! Open evening is every Wednesday, 6:30-8:30.

Laptops and PCs (White Cross, LA1) Expired Ideally, we want computers that originally came with Windows 7 or later, so we can refurbish and/or upgrade them sufficiently to run Windows 11 effectively. Laptops are preferred, but desktops are also useful. Mice, keyboards and monitors would also be considered. We have funding to perform checks and upgrades, but are giving our time voluntarily. Machines will be given over to Charities, CiCs and NHS to give to "needy" clients, such as refugees, for work, communication with family, etc. Sorry, we do not directly give computers to people, but we might be able to help you find an organisation who could help you. Power supply for electronics work (White Cross, LA1) Expired We do some electronics work/teaching at LAMM and recently our electronics power supply gave up the ghost. We were hoping that someone had an old one lying around that we could have. We are looking to significantly expand our electronics education, aimed at young people, in the near future, so other electronics equipment might be useful for us, too - please contact us! Thanks!

Writable DVDs and CDs (White Cross, LA1) Gifted DVD-R and CD-R (single write) disks. Some with cases and some on spindles. Also some loose cardboard cases. Take as many as you need.

A multitude of maps (White Cross, LA1) Expired We have literally hundreds of maps to get rid of. They are out of date, but good condition and mostly usable. Come and have a rummage and claim any that take your fancy! Mostly geographic, but some are geological! Mostly within the UK, but some for German regions (in English).

Sewing machine - spare/repair (White Cross, LA1) Expired Sewing machine - fisher Rossman 204 - BROKEN so only good for spares or repair. Internal nylon cog is broken (may be other issues).

CD player/clock/radio/bluetooth (White Cross, LA1) Gifted Small sound system (BUSH) that plays CDs, is a clock-radio & plays music from your device via Bluetooth. Also each speaker lights up and flashes, if required, for a very weak disco experience!
