I have a white ribbon attached to the zipper with the idea of making it easier to zip the pocket back up after opening it. Opening the pocket up is not hard. I find it a struggle to close the pocket back up with the gloves on. The idea is to have fingers for operating a camera or for any other need. The gloves fit my medium size hands well. From the tip of my middle finger to my wrist is 7 ".

Free: Hotfingers GORE-TEX Gloves (Heritage District, Sunnyvale) Gifted Navy Blue hot fingers gloves with short zipper at the wrist, measuring 9" from tip of middle finger to the wrist. I think they belonged to my teen age son when his hands were not at all large. They fit a little snug on my hands that are not large. My hand measures 7" from tip of my middle finger to my wrist right by the wrist bone.

The lining on the inside is worn at the very bottom of the inside. The lining on the inside is also very worn at the opening and closing creases at either end of the purse on the inside. The purse is serviceable for daily use but not good for going out on a date.
