Free: Royal 440 Type Writer & New Ribbon (Heritage District, Sunnyvale) Gifted The Typewriter Carriage measures 19 inches wide. The typewriter is 8 1/2" tall & its depth is 16 1/2". The keys need cleaning with alcohol and a brush. Have a brand new ribbon to go with the typewriter. The picture with printing on it shows two lines that I typed onto paper. My stroke is not sharp and even so some letters are faint. Cleaning the keys and installing new ribbon should make the typing nice and clear. Handy for filling out forms and applications.
