Free: Fridge • under counter (NB: runs v cold but in good nick!) (Fletton) Hi! We have a full sized under-counter fridge going free for anyone who can make use of it. Measurements: H 82cm, W 55cm, D 57cm. ❄️ Full disclosure: it runs very cold! We think the thermostat’s not working, so we found that leaving it on the lowest temperature setting (no.1) was cold enough, and drinks would start to get a bit icy…. But that can actually be a good thing!?! It’s in good condition otherwise, and is super clean inside. Essentially it would be great as a spare fridge for someone who likes things really chilled, OR potentially even as extra freezer storage if you wanted to run it colder? We paid £50 for it second-hand a year ago, but are giving it away now because we’ve just moved house and got a larger fridge-freezer (also second-hand!) for the new kitchen. This fridge always ran cold, but we came to quite like that! We just don’t have space for it now. Could this fridge be useful for you, as it has been for us? Request: Garden Furniture 🌳 (sofa-style would be perfect) (Fletton) Expired Hello! 👋🏼🙂 I'm looking for some garden furniture to go on the back patio of our little bungalow here in Fletton. It's a disability property - my partner is in a wheelchair (after a bad car crash 18 months ago) and I have since become his full-time carer. The bungalow was completely unfurnished when we moved in, including a very empty garden! 🏡 We're gradually trying to make it more homely, and now that the better weather seems to be coming (! 👀) it would be really nice to sit outside sometimes. But, we have zero seating or tables right now, and unfortunately zero budget too! 😔 My partner's mobility issues mean that it's generally easier for him to transfer over to a sofa, rather than a chair with arms. That's why I've been hoping to find some kind of garden sofa - rattan or similar - so he can keep his poorly legs elevated as much as possible. My hope is to create a comfy area outside to help him enjoy some much-needed fresh air again, as he has been in and out of hospital wards ever since his accident. 🏥 Getting him back to The Outside would be a real game-changer for his long-term recovery, both physically and mentally. 🌿☀️✨ Obviously the picture above is just a stock photo of the perfect corner-sofa set, and we're not expecting to find exactly that! 😝 It was just to give a visual idea really, and to see if anyone might have anything similar lurking in a dark forgotten corner of their garden or patio!?... But we'd be super happy to hear from Anyone with ANY furniture at this point, honestly; we just need something other than a wheelchair to sit on! Request: Garden grass trimmer / strimmer 🌿 (Fletton) Expired Hi! 👋🏼🙂 I'm desperately seeking a strimmer! 🌿🌳🌿 👀 It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just ideally in good working condition? We've got a jungle to tackle out the back of our bungalow, which we only moved into a couple of months ago. Now the sun's coming out, the grass / weeds / triffids are going crazy too! So I'm hoping to find some kind of strimmer ASAP, to stop the garden overtaking the house in case no-one ever sees us alive again. 😂 If you have anything going free, please drop me line! Free: Wooden headboard (double) - vintage golden oak 🛏️ (Fletton) Gifted Free to a good home! This good quality oak headboard is for a double bed (4'6") and comes complete with the original slats for securing it to your bed. (More measurements below 👇🏼📏 ) We're passing this on as we just recently got a new fabric headboard... But this is a nice quality wooden headboard for anyone who needs one. 😊 Condition: 'Pre-loved' - used but v good! Free: Manual Wheelchair • Folding, steel, w/ bedpan option (Fletton) Gifted Manual steel wheelchair, going free to a good home! 😊🙌🏼 Collection only please, from Fletton - PE2 9DN. *********** A good sturdy wheelchair with solid steel frame, which can be self-propelled or steered by someone else from behind (with built-in handles). The chair has the added benefit of a removable seat pad, which can be swapped out to replace with a plastic bedpan (not shown) - thus making it into a mobile commode or 'clinical seat'. This feature is usually only included with medical-standard wheelchairs, so it's a good find! And could be very useful for anyone who struggles to transfer to the toilet, or for times when that is not an option. (NB: The bedpan option has never actually been used on this chair.) Standard 18" seat, with 16" rise at back. Roomy seat which can accomodate most adults. Maximum suggested weight: 275lb (19.5 stone) / 125kg. Padded armrests, stowable footrests, and rear pocket - useful for things like phone / tablet / medication / keys etc. There is some scuffing to the inside leg frames (as shown in pics); this is due to my partner having used this chair while he had 2 metal frames on his lower legs! 😏 You could say this adds character to the chair though, like scars on a human! - It's got a few tales to tell, but has survived... and is now ready for more adventures. There are handbrakes fitted, although these don't seem to be working. To be honest, we found we never needed these anyway (unless you're planning to go up and down mountains! 😜) Someone with a little DIY skill could probably fix them if needed. 🛠️ If you think this chair could be useful for someone you love, please drop us a line? We've had it since Summer 2022 when my partner was in a car crash, and it was mostly used around Addenbrookes Hospital for the next 9 months - rarely outside! We're only passing it on because it felt a little too wide for him, and someone else kindly gave us a narrower one. Maybe this could be helpful for you? 🙂👍🏼

Free: Double mattress, medium-firm 🛏️ (Fletton) Gifted Good quality double mattress, ideal as an everyday mattress or for a guest room etc. 🛏️ 💤 Second-hand but very clean - no marks or stains, it has been well looked after. Quite firm (support factor 5) with roll-resist technology, so would be good for singles or a couple; also ideal for anyone needing orthopaedic support for a bad back etc. (The mattress could also be made more luxurious / softer by adding your own memory-foam mattress topper, as people often do these days.) This is a good brand, classic design and 'hand-made', so would have been expensive originally. We were gifted it second-hand with a bedframe recently, but we prefer a medium-soft mattress so decided to replace it. Happy to offer this FREE to anyone who would like it! 😀🙌🏼 Collection only please, from PE2 9DN. (You'd need to use a large car or van ideally to collect.
