Free: Potted Pear Tree (Strood, ME2) Lovely little pear tree looking for a new home. It’s approximately 120 cm tall, healthy and established, and produces beautiful full-sized pears. I’m gradually reducing the number of plants I have in pots as I simply don’t have enough time to give everything the attention it deserves, so I’d love this one to go to someone who will enjoy it. Please note: the large pot is not included. I’ll remove the tree with its root ball/soil and put it securely into a strong bin liner ready for collection.

Free: Miracle-Gro Feeder / Attachment (Strood, ME2) Gifted Miracle-Gro garden feeder, which connects directly to a hosepipe for feeding and watering plants. Only used a couple of times and in very good condition. We simply don’t get on with it and have decided to go back to the old-fashioned method of mixing plant feed in a watering can. One for when the hosepipe ban eventually lifts. Collection from Strood. I’m generally around in the evenings and at weekends. Early collection preferred. Free: Bug Zapper / Mosquito & Fly Killer (Strood, ME2) Gifted Free to a new home: electric bug zapper, 18W, approximately 28 cm tall. Works brilliantly for mosquitoes and flies (and, unfortunately, the occasional moth 😣). It has a light sensor and can be left to do its thing. We’re only giving it away because the little zzzt when it catches something, although barely noticeable to us, sets off our dog - who then feels obliged to announce every electrocuted mosquito to the entire neighbourhood. 😂 Used but fully working. Free: IKEA Poäng Chair (Strood, ME2) Gifted This Poäng chair was a lovely Freegle find and has served us well. It’s now time for it to find a new home. The cover and cushion inserts have been freshly washed, and the chair is in good working order. The cover is perfectly usable but is showing its age, so you may wish to replace it. Free: Performance 180W Detail Sander (Strood, ME2) Gifted Performance 180W detail sander with original box and some sanding sheets. This came with the house when we bought it and has been sitting in the shed ever since. I’ve tested it and it still works perfectly. The only issue is that the plastic casing has become a bit sticky in places with age (a fairly common problem with older soft-touch plastics). It doesn’t affect how it works, but you may prefer to wear gloves while using it or clean the coating off if it bothers you. Collection from Strood (ME2).

Request: CD/DVD Tower for Project (Strood, ME2) Withdrawn Hi everyone, Before I head to B&Q, I thought I’d see if anyone has an unwanted narrow CD/DVD tower gathering dust. I’m building a slim hallway cupboard for our dogs’ walking equipment and the side panels would be perfect to repurpose. I’d much rather give an old piece of furniture a second life than buy new materials. Cosmetic condition isn’t overly important, as I’ll be rebuilding and refinishing it. Happy to collect locally.
