Free: 2 portable air conditioners (Tottenham N17) We have 2 portable air conditioners that we no longer need, they need to be collected as a package, both of them at the same time. Both of them do work, but not really that great, and they could both do with a cleaning as well. We have had them in our music rehearsal studios for about 15 years, and never had any problems with them, and they do pump out cold air, but recently we got a new AC unit and it was only when we saw how much more cold air the new AC unit was pumping out that we realised that these were not as strong as they needed to be, hence why we are getting rid of them. I would say that these ones create about half the cold air that the new ones do, which is better than nothing, but not good enough for our needs. They both work though, they both weigh about 25-30kgs, each, so they will need a car to collect them. We would be happy to help you lift them into the car. As a final detail, on both of them the plastic clip that connects the hole in the back of the unit to the plastic pipe is missing, so we used to tape it in place with heat proof tape. It used to work fine, but we found that we needed to re-attach the tape every month or so. If you can find a plastic clip to clip it in place, that would work better. The black gaffer tape on them was only put there to ask the bands that use the studios to not move them. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and please, confirm with us in advance that you are coming to collect them, so that we can make sure that you do not have a wasted journey. Thanks for the interest! Jimmy.

Free: 16" Industrial fans, broken (Tottenham N17) Gifted We have two industrial fans that we no longer need, neither of which work, here is what is wrong with each of them. 1) This one doesn't turn on, we don't know if the fuse in the plug is blown, or if there is an problem with the motor, I wouldn't imagine it be too difficult to fix, but it's not worth our while doing this. 2) The motor works fine, but the can blade has detached from the central spindle, so it needs to be reattached. This could be done with epoxy glue, but for safety reasons we couldn't offer this to our customers, so this should be quite an easy fix if you have the time and the know-how. Important: at one point we had four of these fans, and two of them have already been taken. We have two of them available, and all of them look pretty much nearly the same, but they may differ slightly from the fans that you can see in the photo. However, they will be 16", and they will look pretty much the same, but they just may be a different brand. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!

Free: Apollo Electric Cordless Drill (Tottenham N17) Gifted Standard size 18v drill. It DOES NOT come with a charger though, as this was lost and we cannot find it. The last time that we used it it worked well, we bought it brand new from Amazon for £40 at the time and only used it for light work about 6 times in total. The biggest issue is finding a replacement charger, so if you can do that, everything else should be fine. Available to collect from Bally Studios, best times are evening weekdays and at certain times on the weekend, but always best to let us know in advance so that we can have it ready for you.

Free: Vax Air Stretch Upright Vacuum (Tottenham N17) Gifted We have a Vax Air Stretch Upright Vacuum Cleaner that we purchased brand new from Amazon in November 2021. There are a couple of faults with it that we think are easily fixable, so long as the person repairing them is capable of doing so, but as we are a commercial business we can't have products that have such small faults, so we decided to replace the vacuum with a brand new one, hence why we are getting rid of this one. The issues are that - there is a slight tear in the shielding of the power cable, as you can see in one of the photos we have taped it up with some tape. - There is a problem with where the power cable enters the vacuum cleaner. If the cable is at a certain angle sometimes it will cut out, and then you need to change the angle of the cable/move it around to get the vacuum started again, which indicates that there is an issue at the point where the vacuum cleaner cable connects with the vacuum cleaner, so that would need attention. Apart from that though the vacuum cleaner works well when it is switched on, and as you can see it has the relevant accessories, but it needs some attention for it to function as it should. Many thanks for your interest. Bally Studios

Free: Air Conditioning Units, for repair (N17) Gifted We have three different air conditioning units, which are all for collection only as a package deal, in which the person gets all 3, strictly for collection only, which can be arranged anytime in the daytime/evening/weekend, so long as it is arranged a couple of days in advance. These units use R410A and R407C coolants, which are much less flamable than the industry standard R32 gas. These items are offered in a condition where they would need to be repaired before being used. One of the units, the white one, was purchased by ourselves back in 2016 with it being used for approximately 600 hours since we bought it. In 2022 the unit stopped working, it would start up, but the air coming out of it was not very cold at all. The second and third units, the grey ones, were purchased by us from another person on eBay in Sept 2023 who listed them as "working condition" .Upon us receiving the items we realised this was not the case. They were not in the condition listed, and also the plugs were not working on both of them, with the pins being bent out of place, so we are now relisting them with a full and honest list of the condition that we received them in. We were able to get a full refund from eBay as the items were not sold to us accurately, so we are now getting rid of them. As we are a commercial studio it's not worth having units that may be unreliable, but If you are an air conditioning engineer, or if you are able to get them serviced for cheap, they could be a good option for you. The exact model of each of these units are as follows: x2 grey units =B&Q WAP267EB 9000 BTU, power consumption 1200w, current 5.4a,cooling capacity 2.6KW, Refrigerant /charge limit is R407C/550g, Pressure, suction = 12KG/cm2, Discharge is 24Kg/cm2. Weight 30kgseach. White unit is an Amcor SF10000E, 890w of cooling power, 2.35kw of cooling capacity, 370g of R410 refrigerantm0.8/3.2MPa Pressure suction, and 21kg in weight. To be clear,each/all of these units are being offered for repairs, or for spare parts. They do not currently work as they are intended to, so please be aware of this. I do believe that they can be serviced and will be operational after doing so. The first unit, the white one, was used in a smoke free rehearsal studio, and was maintained well. We received the other two grey units a month ago, having purchased them second hand on eBay, and when these item sarrived, here is the list of issues that they had: - the outercasing of each of them had been opened and then resealed with packing tape. Whereas previously the two halves of the casing were held together by screws, but in this case packing tape was used. - One of the air conditioners was sold to us as missing one of the wheels, but as you can see from the photo, we found the wheel - it had been inserted into the cooling mechanism! That would definitely need to be checked out before you used the item, by a qualified technician. - To my eye itlooks like somebody has tried to fix the inside of the unit who was not qualified to do so, which explains why the units were opened up and then not sealed properly. - The filters within the unit are also filthy, and would need to be cleaned thoroughly before use. I've had units in the past that did this, and I was able to fix it by washing, but it would take about an hour and a half to do, in my estimation - One of the three pin plugs on the grey units is broken and would need to be replaced with new ones. These units do not come with any of the piping needed to send the hot air out of the room, but these can be easily purchased on eBay. These items are available to be collected from the following address. Bally Studios,Unit 16 Millmead Business Centre, Mill Mead Road, Tottenham Hale,London N17 9QU. We are based on the ground floor of a communal business centre with free parking right outside. Staff members will be able to help you to load these units into your vehicle. We would recommend a van be used to collect these items, so that these units can be kept upright during transport, as recommended by the manufacturers. We have all of the trollies that you need to load these into the vehicle. Finally, to confirm: a) Please only accept these items if you are able to repair them yourself, or if you are willing to invest in getting somebody qualified to repair them. They won't work without being serviced. b) We only have staff members at the studios when there are bands booked in, and so collection would need to happen around that. We'll try to accommodate a time for these units to be collected, but it will need to be at a time that we are already at work, to save our staff members needing to make a special journey to the studios. Please don't bid for these in the expectation that you'll be able to collect them at a precise time and day. As our feedback shows, we're ALWAYS willing to do what we can to accommodate, but our flexibility may be limited on days that we would otherwise be closed. At present we are usually available to hand item over pretty much 6 days of the week, but the schedule can change from time to time. Any questions, please feel free to message us and I will be happy to help wherever I can. Thanks! ;-) Jimmy Bally Studos.
