Essentially lots of different versions of Windows, Windows server, etc etc. Or, use those to scare the birds in your allotment and it's two binders for all your CDs or DVDs.

Free: Large office shredder - MAY NOT BE WORKING (New England Quarter BN1) Gifted This is a Rexel RDS2270. Takes up to 22 pages at a time, not scared of staples, has special mode for shreddding CD-ROMs. Was working, has been in storage for a while, now doesn’t respond when switched on. Sorry I don’t have time to investigate why! Maybe trivial, or maybe it will never go again. Short deadline, because I’ve got to get rid of it soon if no one wants to give it a go, it’ll go to waste clearance.

Light, no irritation, eco friendly, washable, fade-resistant, fireproof. With the fixings to hang from a ceiling. Greatly improve the acoustics in echoey spaces with high ceilings.

Free: Quantity of white plastic trim (New England Quarter BN1) Gifted came with a lot of secondary double glazing, surplus to requirements. Main quantity is 26mm, mostly 142cm long with a few shorter lengths; there are also (last photo) a small number of 21mm, same lengths. All sizes approx.

Free: Central Heating Controller (Lewes BN7) Gifted This is a "Secure" C1727 controller, /. It can be used as a direct replacement for many existing controllers (but not all); and you can control it locally with an app, so if you have a wired thermostat (e.g. if you're replacing an older central heating programmer you probably do) then you should be able to use it as is, and set schedules using the app (which uses bluetooth). It's normally sold with a wireless display/thermostat/controller, but I don't have that any more. You can buy these separately, e.g. . (You can also buy a wifi card to plug in, and then can use the app remotely.)

Free: Convector Heater - working but issue (Lewes BN7) Withdrawn This is an electric convector heater. It's working fine; but the outer sheath of the mains cable is damaged (see photos). Someone with basic DIY skills could almost certainly fix this (and as noted it's actually working fine at the moment). However this came from an office and they can't use it in this condition, or with a non-certified repair. (Also I think it probably should have had feet - the fact it doesn't is probably why the cable is like that.)

Free: dog bag: for taking muddy dogs in cars (or bus) (Lewes BN7) Gifted Red flannel dog bag; if the dog is particularly muddy, and especially if travelling someone else's car, you can zip them into the bag with the head sticking out. Suited our old dog fine, and she quite liked being swaddled; new dog is too big for it.

Free: Lots of 'system' desks for offices (New England Quarter BN1) Expired These are designed to be installed as a run of desks: always two back to back, but the run can be as long as you like, e.g. 2x1, 2x2, 2x3 etc. We've got at least 20 desk tops, all 160cm x 80cm (white as in the photo); and an assortment of leg and bar units to suit (there are wide leg units to go at each end of a run, and shorter ones to go in the middle of a run). All disassembled, with the relevant bolts (which are a standard size anyway) to reassemble. For collection in central Brighton from a building with a loading bay and goods lift. This is "Senator" desking - the same as the ones being sold here with better photos! .
