I got these originally to upcycle them as they are in the Ercol style but then I changed my mind. I did do a test patch of my new sander on the seat of one- which is why it has white patches. I would recommend you using a stripper rather than sanding if you wanted to upcycle or use a good bonding primer before you repaint. They would great with some seat cushions too. They are solid, good condition and I’ve been keeping them stored away inside.

Originally bought this to upcycle as I like it’s shape and size. I have had it sitting in my hallway and have enjoyed it but no longer have the capacity to upcycle it so would love to give it a good home. One corner did break off but I have kept the pieces and is easy enough to fix, can share some YouTube videos. The chrome knobs are completely original and I believe it’s made of pine, complete solid piece. Brand: Hagen Model: Elite Style Approx measurements Capacity 54 litres Width: 61cm/24 inches Depth: 30.5cm/12 inches Height without lid: 35.5cm/14 inches Height with lid: 43cm/17 inches I also have some decor and equipment photographed to go with it to its new home 🥰 Cleaned and checked all seals are in intact and in good working order 👍 Some limes ale reside on underside of lid which is photographed I didn’t have a bulb to check the lighting works but it was in full working order when I stored it and it has been stored in good conditions so I have no reason to believe the electrics wouldn’t work- at the most might need a new fuse in the plug
