Shabby but usable swivel chair (Leigh)
Ugly and shabby but usable swivel chair. The chair has been well-used and was reliable for many years, but it has several cosmetic and functional issues. A few weeks ago I stained the seat which led to hand washing it in the shower, and although it seemed dry after a few days on a radiator, moisture continued to seep out when used. I attempted to speed up drying with a hairdryer and caused heat damage, melting the fabric and leaving a hole with dark, burned edges. Once the chair finally dried, detergent residue and pale stains remained on the seat. Visually, the chair is far from perfect, but it can still be used comfortably if the seat is covered with a cushion, towel, or blanket. I continued using it this way for about a week before replacing it with a new chair, which is why I feel it's too good to throw in a dumpster. Chairs of this type can be expensive, and someone might still use it despite the flaws. The lifting pump is a bit temperamental. It gets stuck and then it gets unstuck. But if you give it a few tries it eventually works. And the range of height is quite big, 40cm to 53cm. The lowest is good for a short person. The base with wheels is strudy and works well. However, the screw that should secure the backrest position doesn’t hold firmly, making the backrest somewhat loose, and it squeaks when leaned against. The backrest itself is not fully fixed because a screw went missing, so it can moves to sides and makes a cracking sound. Also the sponge of the seat is quite compressed and thin after long usage. But it needs a cusion on top to hide the hole anyway. This description highlights every issue so that anyone considering taking the chair knows exactly what to expect.

Ferrex multi sensor, no battery (Leigh)
Gifted
I’m giving away a Ferrex multi-sensor meant to detect studs and cables in walls. It didn’t work well for me, but someone else might have better luck. It’s in the original packaging from Aldi and includes the user manual. The battery is not included; it uses a flat rectangular type you’ll need to provide. I’ve since replaced it with a more accurate model. This one was barely used and is still in good condition, so I’d rather give it away than throw it out.

Dishwasher tablets, quite old (Leigh)
Gifted
I’m giving away a container of Finish dishwasher tablets left by the previous owners of the house. There’s no original packaging, and they’re at least two years old. They likely don’t expire. There are about 70 tablets in the box, and I’m giving the box and tablets together. I don’t use a dishwasher, so I’d rather pass them on to someone who can.

SteelSeries headphones, a bit weird (Leigh)
Gifted
These are good quality headphones. Very nice sound. They are a bit heavy on the top of the head, but they have cusions around ears so they don't press them. Sound volume can be adjusted with control in one headphone. They also have a microphone, so good for calls. I used them for a year or two. But then they started to affect strangely my phone. My music playing app acted weird. It would start all of a sudden when I started playing YouTube videos or used a screen reader. And it was hard to turn it off. Also the sound volume kept risng to the max. I thought it was the cable, so I replaced it. But it didn't help much with the phone. So it's still good to use on a desktop or laptop. And also maybe some other phones. Maybe the setup on my phone was just not compatible. I got another headphones since, wireless ones which are much more comfortable, and I'm definitely not going back to using these. So if someone doesn't mind the cable maybe they could find them useful. The sound in them is very good quality. I don't know much about headphone brands, but I think they are of good brand.

Tussoy double bed mattress topper (Leigh)
Gifted
This is a mattress topper TUSSOY from IKEA. I used it for maybe a year or two and then it spent another year or two in a storage. I washed the covers, and one got a spot of damaged fibre in washing machine and also not all stains were washed off. There are a few spots here and there. See last four photos for imperfections. But other than that, it's usable. The filling is of memory foam about three or four centimeters thick. And the size is for double bed. On the photos it's laid on a single bed. That's why it's kind of falling over the side.

WiFi booster (Leigh)
Gifted
This is good as new WiFi range extender also known as WiFi booster. I got it from Argos about a year ago and it's nearly unused. I only opened it and I try to set it up but I couldn't because it needs some app that wouldn't work with my phone and my router wouldn't connect directly. I was quite disappointed with that. I managed to solve my WiFi problem in another way and the booster just lays and gathers dust since. So maybe someone will find it useful. Inside of the box there's everything you need, instructions and all. And the link to Argos so you can see it is here.

White metal gate. Comes with all screws and fastening parts. Some are probably not original. It was fastened securely to a timber frame. For mansonry wall different screws may be better.
