Free: Bromeliad - Aechmea chantinii (islington N1) I bought a bromeliad a few years ago and it had a beautiful flower. I have never been able to get it to flower again, so I am happy to give it away to someone who is good at getting these plants to flower. Please do not ask for a photo, as it is possible to see online how these plants look.

Free: Large spider plant (islington N1) Withdrawn One spider plant with one baby. This is an indoor plant. It will be given away without a pot, so you'll need a largish terracotta pot for it.

Free: Berberis - garden plant (islington N1) Withdrawn A berberis bush of about 1 metre in height and 30 cm wide; it will not grow taller than that, but it will grow much wider. The variety is Berberis Nana, which is a very upright type of plant, and needs at least 6 hours of sun per day. This plant is only suitable for a garden, as the root ball is quite big, and therefore cannot grow well in a pot. It would need to be collected by car or van. I will wait until a warm day to actually give it away, but I am starting to look for the right home now.

Free: Pyracantha - garden plant (islington N1) Gifted I have uprooted a pyracantha and it needs to be collected as soon as possible. It does not have many thorns, and two people would be able to carry it on foot. This is a large, evergreen garden plant that produces beautiful red berries in summer, and last all winter.

It's an indoor plant in winter and outdoor's in spring and summer. It needs lots of sun. It will be given away without a pot, so you'll need a large terracotta pot and soil for it.
