Pair of car horns- untested (Horton Bank BD7)
I have acquired these two car horns - one low pitch one high pitch. They came a box with what looks like two home made brackets and a relay. There were no wiring looms but the picture shows an insert from the box which has a wiring diagram. Please note that I have NOT tested them. They look in fairly good condition, but they are of no use to me. If you would like these then they are offered untested as seen.

We have here 14 magazines ranging from 2001 to 2005 plus a copy of Barry Manilow For The Record - the Barry Manilow story in words and pictures. All have many pictures and facts about the American singer songwriter (now 81).

1980’s CB plugs/ connectors (Horton Bank BD7)

Deep in my electrics box, I found these plugs/adaptors/cable from the 1980’s CB radios. Anybody remember them? You were right if you said PL259 (the plugs and sockets) and RG58 cable. In this small bundle there’s sevenPL259 plugs; two male to female ‘elbow’ connectors; two sockets; a male to male adaptor and a female to female adaptor. And finally a length of RG58 cable to which one of the plugs is attached. I want rid so if anyone can make use of them, you are very welcome to come and get them.

This book is 35 years old yet looks as if it had just come off the press mere days ago. it is in very good condition, no dog-eared pages, just 448 pages of facts and figures of how things were done all those years ago and probably still are even today. The pictures here are just a small sample of what there is, You’ll have to get the book if you want to see and learn more. If this book is of interest to you then you know what you must do! Apologies: 3 of the pictures are upside down.

Many of them have already been used but there’s also many with stickers still to be stuck. Also included is a pile of sheets with further stickers. Again, you will notice some have already been used but there’s still plenty to use as well. The books also have puzzles and games, pictures to colour or blank spaces for the kids to draw or make sticker pictures for themselves. Plenty of things to occupy their time and keep them amused.

Okay, it’s only a calendar and it’s from 2023 but the beauty of this one is that it not only has 12 pictures of the late Queen Elizabeth but it is still in its original clear plastic covering so it is brand spanking new. Interested? You know what to do.

Multi-level steamer (Horton Bank BD7)

This steamer has been well used but is still in a usable condition. As you will see from the pictures, the figures around the control timer have faded somewhat and the brand name, Morphy Richard’s, has all but faded out. There is a crack in one of the handles but this has been repaired with super glue. The timer knob has sustained some misshaping but is still turntable. However, despite these anomalies it still soldiers on and appears to do its job. If you can see past these anomalies, then please get in touch coz we’d like to see this go to a new home. We could possibly deliver this locally.

Anybody out there interested in this ‘little’ bundle? Here we have a knitted white baby’s jacket plus 28 pairs of colourful knitted socks- some two colour others in three colours. Also nestling in this bundle are 6 pairs where the main colour and trim have been deliberately reversed- for example the green sock (bottom right in main picture) has orange stripes. Its partner is orange with green stripes (see close ups of bottom row). Anybody who wants these, please get in touch. We’d like to see these to go to a good home.
