Used Chinese Books #2 (Cuddesdon, OX44)
Please note that there are some pencil marks (by me) in the books. They are early works compiled by Wenlian Chang 張文亮, short bios of Western scientists who were Christians, like Isaac Newton, etc. Quite inspiring to me at first (more than 10 years ago), but as I went on to read Chang's later works (bios of Christians from all walks of life, including scientists, missionaries, etc), I've found the latter more in-depth and edifying to a Christian's walk with our Lord. I prefer not to keep or recommend these if I could (though they're not too bad), but I'd like to see if anyone is interested before recycling them. Many thanks!

Two Used Cabin Size Suitcases (Cuddesdon, OX44)

The pre-owners wanted to dump them. We thought we'd post them here first and see if anyone might need them. The wheels are not working very smoothly. Apart from that, they're in fairly good condition (would need some cleaning before actual use). As we didn't own them, we don't know the password of the red suitcase's built-in lock. 2 Used Prayer Kneelers (Prie Dieux) (Cuddesdon, OX44)

Unlike padded prayer kneelers, these require placing prayer pads (or mats) into the kneeling space to make them usable. The prayer pads we have now (fitting the kneeler) are mostly too soft. We have some new, firmer prayer pads, but they're too big and don't fit in that space. These pictures were taken when the prayer kneelers were first made in late 2012 - early 2013. Now they look older with some wear and tear, especially the white pads for the elbows. We moved from Hong Kong to here more than 2 years ago and shipped these from there. We haven't unwrapped them since their arrival (easier for moving rom one place to another), so we don't have photos showing their present condition. If you'd really like to take a look of them, we could unwrap them and take some photos for you. Alternatively, you may come and take a look first before you decide if you want to take them with you. All are welcome to take these for free—for private prayer, home decoration, prayer meetings, gifts... Material: EVA foam Dimensions (each pad): 46cm x 22.7cm x 3cm Weight (each pad): approx. 267g *Update as of 2024/10/22: there're about 29 pieces available now. Please let us know how many you'd like. Thanks :) Why are they in Ukrainian & English? They were born out of our encounter with some Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw in late July 2023, during our mission trip there. Our pastor was moved to prepare some prayer kneeling pads for them, and the Lord miraculously opened the way. After sending some to Ukraine and various parts of the world, there're still a small amount left. When we took it out or simply moved it around, we could hear some "click" sound).
