Pretty clean inside and outside. Foot pedal doesn’t work because the plastic piece that levers the lid up broke but if you want to rig up a piece of wood with duct tape, you could easily get it working again. My partner refused and insisted we divest. Hoping someone else can make use of this still very usable item!

I've used such lanyards to hang birdfeeders. They're used for simple name tags but have been built for the weight of bricks (wtf). I'm just trying to keep them out of the landfill. They're hella strong and last forever (10+ years on the ones I'm using) so this pile is just sitting around! Can you find a use for them? If you want to get even more creative, you can also have the plastic sleeves to reuse!
