Request: Scaffold Pole (Spondon DE21) Hi, We are hoping someone has a length of Scaffold pole lying around they no longer need and would be willing to gift. We need it to make legs (supports) for a doorway disabled ramp so that it doesn't have to rest on the UPVC threshold of the doorway. A scaffold pole normally has a thick wall (3+mm) and is galvanised, so quite strong and is protected from the elements. About 5ft (or more) should be enough for me to make the legs (and one or 2 mistakes :-) ). So if anyone has any that they would be willing to gift we would be very grateful. Many thanks for reading Chris Spondon
Free: Bath top seat (Spondon DE21) Gifted On offer is a seat that you put across the top of a bath. It is good for people with limited mobility who can't get in and out of the bath. The seat allows them to sit over the bath and either bathe or shower. The seat has adjustable pegs that you move in or out to fit against the sides of the bath to make the seat secure. If you look on almost any site for disabled equipment you will see its full use / potential. At the time or writing I have not located the handle that is shown in the second picture so it may not be available to be gifted with the seat.

Free: Childs Swing (Spondon DE21) Gifted On offer is a child's free standing garden swing. The top of the frame is approx 1.2m high. It comes with both a baby's child's plastic seat. It has been in the garden partially covered for a couple of years with the plastic seat on, the baby seat has been kept in a shed. There are areas of surface rust on the frame but all should clean up with a wire brush or sandpaper and a little work. It is structurally sound and believed safe to use as is (with a bit of a clean) or you can give it a quick refurb to make it look better.
