Natural Peanut Butter past bb (Dow’s Lake) I’m embarrassed that this full, sealed jar was in my cupboard long enough to get past its bb date (see photo). I’ve eaten ‘expired’ pb myself, but I’m no longer recommended to eat it at all. While I’m not recommending this for human consumption, perhaps someone who feeds the creatures would find it acceptable.?

Cyclamen seeks better exposure (Dow’s Lake) Promised I have regretfully accepted that I don’t have the desirable conditions for keeping this white cyclamen healthy year ‘round. It’s resilient, but it’s trying to bloom and my windowsill is too sunny. It would prefer less intense light and cooler temperatures. Would you have an appropriate spot?

Silk & Linen Jacket nwt (Dow’s Lake) Gifted It is with considerable regret that I finally acknowledge I will never wear this exquisite tailored jacket that was given to me many moons ago. It is labelled size M. The one-side underarm measurement is about 18”. I love it. I hope to find someone who will love it and wear it.

Tahini past bb (Dow’s Lake) Gifted I first discovered that sesame is not good for me, then checked this unopened jar of tahini to discover that it’s past its bb date (see photo). It’s not soooo much beyond it. Maybe there’s a margin of error? I imagine that it would be ok for creatures. Any takers?

Pink Crystal Earrings 925 Silver (Dow’s Lake) Gifted New, unworn pink and purple crystal earrings from India. Incomplete markings for 925 silver. The top jewel on one of them is upside down. It’s not very noticeable. Rough length from top of the hook is 2 1/4 in / 6cm.

Adopt an Amaryllis (Dow’s Lake) Gifted Is there a keen gardener who would like to grow on this amaryllis bulb over the summer in hopes of another season of bloom? I don’t have the windowsill space. This one is Apple Blossom colour. It produced two flower stalks, so might be a bit tired.

VERY Sturdy Plastic Zipper Bags (6) (Dow’s Lake) Expired I’m hoping that some creative, resourceful person will have an idea to put these strong bags to good use. They are approximately 15.75 inches wide and about 17 inches from bottom to the zip closure. They have a smallish gusset at the bottom. Please surprise me with something that I didn’t think of.

Heaps of reusable bags (Dow’s Lake) Gifted I’m offering lots of reusable carrier bags, that are nearly new. (I have my groceries delivered, no judgement, please.) A couple are the very sturdy plasticized ones; a couple are XL wide non-woven; a few are large non-woven; and plenty are the regular size non-woven type. The cat is not included; however, given the nature of staticky winter air, fair warning that there will be the occasional cat hair on the exteriors. I am aware that these could be useful at food banks, but it’s not practical for me to take them there. You would be most welcome to do so.

Petgreens cat treats for digestion (Dow’s Lake) Gifted Recently acquired. Salmon flavour treats with wheatgrass. The package has maybe half a dozen removed. Unfortunately my cat seems not at all interested in eating them, though they are excellent for floor hockey. Fair warning, they’re a bit smelly.

Anti-fog lens cloths (Dow’s Lake) Expired Three unused anti-fog lens cloths. Please read the label to be sure that they are suitable for you. (I expect that many folks use them, or the glasses company wouldn’t be supplying them.) Maybe they would be good for other things, like the bathroom mirror?

Boxes, boxes (Dow’s Lake) Expired Help, please. I live with ‘this box is too good to recycle syndrome’. This is a selection of particularly sturdy boxes that deserve another use. The almost cube at the back left is ~ 8”/22cm for size comparison with the others. The five glasses boxes have pull-out drawers, with a ribbon tab. I can imagine them having craft uses. I have a wad of bubble wrap for a bonus if you would like it.

Bamboo in need of rehabilitation (Dow’s Lake) Gifted Seeking a kind home for this bamboo plant that needs re-potting or cutting of sections to root, or both. It is from good stock, but needs revival. This clump is just over two years old having started as cuttings from a twenty-plus year old plant. I have harvested some cuttings. It’s quiet and doesn’t eat much.

Cat scratching fabric (Dow’s Lake) Gifted This is fairly sturdy fuzzy fabric to attach to furniture for cats to scratch rather than the good fabric. It can also wrap around a scratching post. The full piece was 23.6 x 15.8. I cut off the ~12”/30cm section. It and the rest of the roll, tape and instructions are available. Turns out this is not my cat’s preferred texture. The cut part had a bit of catnip applied. I have cleaned it as well as possible. The close-up of the texture is in shadow. The larger picture more accurately shows the colour.

LG V20 Android Phone H990ds (Dow’s Lake) Gifted This Android version 8.0.0 LG phone is about 9 years old. Its OS is no longer updating. It would suit someone whose priority is to use it as a phone and camera, rather than for apps etc as the most current ones won’t be compatible. It can use older and ‘lite’ versions. Charging cable included.

LG 4G LTE Phone & backup charger (Dow’s Lake) Gifted This Android phone is about 11 years old, and will best suit someone who needs to use it as a phone, rather than for scrolling on apps etc, as the OS no longer updates, so it isn’t compatible with the latest bells & whistles. The camera is quite good. Included are a charging cable and a backup charger.

Live Clean liquid hand soap (Dow’s Lake) Gifted About 3/4 of a 1 litre bottle of Live Clean liquid hand soap. I couldn’t get my regular ‘flavour’ of this so tried a different scent. I think that most people would find this one mild and pleasant, but I’m sensitive to fragrance and it’s too much for me.

Summery Dinnerware Set for Four (Dow’s Lake) Gifted Fruity & floral decoration that I think may have been a knockoff of a Mikasa design from 1991. RedSea International Sonata RS 139. Some scratches on the eating surfaces consistant with age, but they have not been used for aaaages. Four each dinner plates, side/salad/bread&butter plates, rimmed soup/pasta bowls, cups & saucers.
