Request: Builders bags. (Kendal LA9) We are wondering whether anyone has some empty builders bags, about one metre cube? Going to use them to take our hedge clippings to the tip. We can probably fill about four in total. But very happy to collect fewer than four!

Request: Teddies (Kendal LA9) Received I am collecting teddies, or similar for a children's charity that provides 300 children with a one week country holiday in the Peak District. We need 300 cuddles each year. We have several groups going before October. Each child has a teddy on their pillow when they arrive. The children are from inner city homes and are recommended by schools, community groups and similar. If you are making room to receive new bears into your family or are clearing out for the start of the Autumn term then we will appreciate your bears. Why to help us provide some comfort and fun. Bears can be up to about 30 cm in height. I can collect in the Kendal area and anywhere locally yon a bus route. Thanks for reading.

Free: Plums (Kendal LA9) Gifted Ripe now, lots, deliciously sweet. On a small weeping plum tree in Kendal. So low growing and can be picked without standing on a ladder or stool. Need to go fairly soon.

Free: laburnum wood (Kendal LA9) Expired Recently cut outer sections of a laburnum tree we need to remove: all outer twigs, branches and sections up to about 15 cm wide. Any use to anyone?

Free: GLASS DISHES (individual) (Kendal LA9) Expired Approximately 20 dishes from GU desserts. 5cm, diameter 8cm. Can leave on front gate, say how many you would like, all or part.

Free: Christmas game (Kendal LA9) Expired 12 crowns and lots of cards with names on of famous people. ( out of a box of Crackers, used at hallowe'en) Put the crown n yuor head, place for moon else to put a card on front with a name on it. Game is to ask questions to find out 'Who is it?' Was good fun! Can leave hanging on front gate.
