Free: Trees (San Bernardino. May 10) (Baker Family Learning Center) Expired Cool and beautify your yard with a free tree! The University of California Master Gardeners are giving away free drought, heat, and pest resistant shade trees in 5-gallon containers ready to plant. at the Baker Family Learning Center in San Bernardino from 10am-12pm. You can hold a tree in advance. Here's the link: bit.ly/4itGC9H to copy and paste in your browser or register using the QR code in the photos. The Master Gardeners will also provide tips on planting and caring for your tree to make sure it maximizes its ecosystem benefits. Trees are first quality from a local nursery. Free: Shade Trees in 5-Gallon Pots (San Bernardino) Expired University of California Master Gardeners are giving away free shade trees in 5-gallon containers on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in San Bernardino. They are all drought, heat, and pest resistant and ready to transplant into your landscape. Please pre-register using the attached QR code or this link: to ensure a tree is saved for you. You must pick it up between 10am - 11:30am at the Baker Family Learning Center in San Bernardino on April 19. Trees will fit in sedan trunks as well as trucks, SUVs and vans. A special thanks to our co-partners, the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District and the San Bernardino County library system.

Free: Shade Trees in 5-Gal. Pots (Coachella Library) Expired Give a gift that keeps on giving! University of California Cooperative Extension’s ‘Trees for Tomorrow Start Today’ Master Gardener volunteers are partnering with the Coachella Valley Resource Conservation District and the Riverside County Library system to provide free shade trees for residents in the Coachella area (one tree per family, please). Trees need to be picked up on Saturday, May 3 between 9:00am – 10:30am at the Coachella Branch Library. Trees come ready to plant in 5-gallon containers and are drought, heat, and pest resistant. University of California San Bernardino County Master Gardeners will be onsite to provide planting and care information. Please pre-register to reserve your tree since we have a limited number of trees. You may also register using the QR code shown in photos on this posting.
