"Pinking" shears (for fabric) (Upper West Side) Does anyone have a pair of "pinking" shears for cutting fabric with a zigzag edge? I just need one briefly to cut up one sheet of fabric, so a short loan would work just as well. I'm on the UWS and can pick up (and return if it's a loan) anywhere in Manhattan. Pruning Shears (Upper West Side) Anyone have a pair of pruning shears I can either have or even just borrow for a few days? My mom's garden needs pruning fast before the weather warms too much, and her shears broke. Pickup in Manhattan preferred. Thanks for considering!

Mens dress shirts for a project (Upper West Side) Expired Hello everyone, I'm working on a sewing project and need a bunch of swatches of materials from mens dress shirts. I will be cutting them up so stains, rips, missing buttons, etc are no problem, so if you have some damaged shirts please let me know instead of sending them to a landfill :) I am on the UWS and can pick up if you're close by, but I can't travel too far to get them due to having to stay close to home for an elderly parent. But let's see if together we can breathe new life into some old clothes!

Electric Water Kettle (Upper West Side) Expired Hi there! I really need one of those plug-in electric water heating kettles. Doesn't need to be fancy, just working. And small is ok, too. Please let me know if you have one you don't want anymore and I will happily come pick up (so long as it's a reasonable distance from the UWS - I can't leave my apartment for too long due to caring for a disabled parent). Unlocked or Verizon Phone (Upper West Side) Expired Howdy neighbors! Anyone have an old smart phone they're not using anymore that would work with Verizon? The rechargeable battery in mine gave up the ghost this morning (*heavy sigh*). Don't need anything super fancy, just something that works. I'm on the UWS but can travel anywhere reasonably close (can't be gone too long due to a bed-bound parent), so somewhere in Manhattan would be best. Thanks!

sewing machine (Upper West Side) Received Hi there! I'm in desperate need of a sewing machine to make gifts for Christmas, as mine broke. Old is fine, just as long as it works. Fingers crossed somebody out there has one they're not using anymore :)
