Free: Electric bug repellent (Elmers End BR3) "Spidergone" electric unit. Gives off an ultrasonic tone that's supposed to repel spiders and other bugs from your house. Don't use it if you have pets. It's in fully working condition but I can't vouch for its effectiveness.

Free: DECT phone and answering machine - may need attention (Elmers End BR3) BT DECT cordless phone system. Three handsets. One base station and two chargers. One-Tel DECT cordless phone and answering machine. Two hansets. One base station and one charger. These were previously in use as a single system with 5 handsets. However, they have been in a box (with the batteries removed) for 10 years. I can't get the old batteries to hold a charge and it will need new ones. (Size AAA, NiMh rechargeable - Amazon and others sell them). With new batteries fully charged, it may all work - but offered for someone who'd like to play.

Free: Double bed with drawers (Elmers End BR3) Gifted This is a fairly old divan base and mattress, but it's clean, been little used and still got a good few years' life in it. It's 5ft wide by 6ft 6in long. There's plenty of room in the drawers to store stuff. The base comes in half to make it easier to move. It's in an upstairs room and we're a bit elderly to help with shifting it.

Free: Computer printer and scanner (Elmers End BR3) Gifted Hewlett Packard Deskjet 2400 printer and scanner. All works well: prints, scans and copies. Can be connected with USB lead (included) or by wifi. Complete with mains lead, black and colour ink cartridges and installation CD. (Note: upgraded sofware can be found on the HP website). Collect from Beckenham.

Free: Computer printer (Elmers End BR3) Gifted Canon Pixma iP1900 printer. Works well. Capable of producing borderless prints. Included: mains and USB leads, installation CD (plus a copy on a USB drive if you don't have a CD drive). New black and colour ink cartridges. This printer originally didn't have an output paper tray, but I can supply the one I used to catch the paper. Collect from Beckenham.

Free: French Language Course on VHS & compact cassette (Elmers End BR3) Gifted BBC French Master course from the 1970s. 5 VHS tapes and 12 compact cassette tapes complete with course books. A comprehensive course to take you from beginner to fluent. You will need something to play the tapes on!

BBC "Deutch Direkt!" course with 3 cassettes and book. Fodor's "German for Travelers" 2 cassettes and book. You'll need something to play the tapes on.
