Hi there, I just joined a small community garden in Dalkeith for young people with behavioural issues, disabilities & special needs. We are a new garden that has started just after COVID and we're hoping this year we will grow enough veg for our Seed to Soup project. The garden is early stages so I'm trying to take things one at a time and at the moment the most urgent task is to start seeds. I'm going to try sourcing compost from Caledonian Horticulture but I was wondering, If anyone had any spare vermiculite or perlite which I could mix in to give these seeds the best possible start. Also looking for slug netting, hoops for holding nets, and horse manure. Any donations to our community project will be much appreciated!
