Adjustamatic recliner chair (Cliffe BN7)
This is a big, solid chair with a superb mechanism, serviced every few years by Adjustamatic. The trouble is that the leatherette has worn through, leaving white patches. There are nice velvet arm covers, but they don’t disguise all the white. However, with a rug or throw over it, and the arm covers, it doesn’t look too bad and is very comfortable, with room to sleep in it, and is entirely serviceable. See last picture. It comes with the electric motor, which you just plug in. Unless someone gets in touch before 9 March, it will go to the Council tip. But it would give years of service to an elderly man or woman who needed a really reliable chair.

Bell & Howard model 640 projector plus speaker (Kemptown BN2)
This is a 16mm projector used by my father in the 60s / 70s. It comes with an amplifier and a power unit. It hadn’t been in active use for some time so I can’t vouch for it being fully functional. However, it’s been looked over by an electrician and powered up. The projector lamp came on and the mechanism rotated. The power unit for the amplifier was also working. We didn’t attempt to run a film through it. Quite heavy so needs to be collected in a vehicle.
