Hello everyone. I recently moved into a new, unfurnished apartment in Brighton. As a single mother who underwent surgery a month ago to remove a knee tumor, I am still recovering; consequently, I cannot lift heavy objects or purchase furniture. I am in urgent need of the following items—if anyone has them available to donate: a TV stand, a wardrobe, a sofa, a dining table with chairs, a bed with a mattress, and a washing machine. Given my knee surgery, I cannot carry heavy items, so any assistance with delivery—or if the items are located somewhere easy to transport them from—would mean a great deal to me. Altec Lancing ACS495 multimedia speakers. . Very good sounding PC, multimedia speakers. Two auxiliary inputs 3.5 millimeter jacks. The control mechanism is a dual rotating disc on the satellite speaker and the volume and then it's got the subwoofer control if you press a button that the LED comes on and when you rotate the volume it directly is a volume control for the subwoofer. So it's very easy to adjust the bass. All the volume independently I've added an extension to the power cord and put in an inline switch to turn it off from the mains from my desk, the wires go into a 12 amp connection block , which has been wrapped in electrical tape. It is safe and if you really want to boost it just continually wrap with more electrical tape it's very strongly connected it won't pull out. But if you prefer you can just remove the extension and connected to the plug. It is old majestic technology, I'm putting it on freecycle to see if anyone would like it before it goes to heaven via recycling centre. A prompt pickup would be welcome.
