These are heavy duty hooks. They look and feel like they're made of iron, though they might be steel. Either way, they are not bendable, unless you have a blacksmithing forge! The total length of the piece is 6.5 inches. The widest part of the opening at the bottom of the "J" is 1-3/8 inches. There are two holes at the top and each one comes with 2 mounting screws.
