1960s Iron (Kettering NN16)

My mum had a dry iron that my gran had given her back in the mid-1960s. It was her pride and joy, and she steadfastly refused to use the fancy steam irons that my siblings and I have bought her over the years. It was a very good iron, very lightweight and easy to use, and she loved it. Unfortunately some thieving scum broke in and stole it some years ago, probably for scrap, and she has never gotten over the loss. She was speaking of it wistfully and nostalgically the other day, and I was thinking it would be lovely to be able to gift her something similar if possible.
