Garden Design course supplies (HA9)

Hi all,

I’m starting a garden design course soon and there is a long list of things needed for the course. If you have any of the following (or even recommended an alternative which you have) I’d greatly appreciate it.

- Magic Tape on a dispenser (also known as Invisible Tape)
- Cheap sticky tape to stick your sheets of paper to the drawing board.
- A Triangular Scale Rule, making sure it includes 1:50 scale
- A Set Square (360mm @ 45 degrees)
- A Set Square (360mm @ 60 degrees)
- A Compass
- A Simple Drawing Carry File (A3 for Level 1, A2 size for Level 2 and Level 3 courses)
- A Tracing Paper Pad or Roll (90 gsm weight paper) – A3 for Level 1 and Level 2 course and A2 for Level 3 courses
- Drawing Pen Set/s (e.g. Rotring Rapidograph) (Line Weight 0.25 / 0.35 / 0.5 – sizes in different sets may vary, you will need 3 distinctive nib sizes)
- Ink Liners or Fine Liners – set of 3 different size nibs: 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5
- A Sketching Pencil Set or just 3 or 4 individual pencils: B, 2B, 4B and 9B for example (this will be discussed in class on the first day)
- A Plastic Rubber
- A Kneadable Eraser or Puty Rubber (optional)
- A (robust) A4 Clipboard – Level 2 and Level 3 (optional)
- Optional: A2 (or larger) Drawing Board (for personal use at home).
