Adjustable length, when used properly they're brilliant for helping ease pressure on joints. Plenty of information online for technique but main point the length shiuld be adjusted until lower arm from elbow to wrist as parallel to the ground.
These were given to me by a kind freegler and I'm passing them on as I plan to upgrade to carbon fibre poles.
