Bought second hand many years ago for domestic use, so only used once or twice a week.
I kept a spare new cartridge. Today the old one has run out of toner, so I put the new cartridge in, but it does not work, makes a clicking sound. If I put the old one back it works, but the printed output is very faint as I think there is no toner left.
I guess solution is to buy a new or reconditioned cartridge. So I'm giving it away on this basis.
This comes with a USB to parallel port adaptor. You will need to download a driver. Also comes with mains lead.
Update: a friendly Freegler has suggested the plastic strip was not pulled out, but it has. I suspect the "new" cartridge may be faulty as stored for a long time. If you are very careful, in theory you can take the toner out of the new cartridge and put it in the old, but do it outdoors as can be very messy.
