An old Blaupunkt portable TV. Cathode ray (i.e. its 4:3 not 16:9 flat screen). It DOES have a SCART socket. The tuner is analogue PAL colour (German sound spacing) so it is no longer able to receive anything at all on the internal tuner, since analogue TV has shut down everywhere. But it turns on and appears to be in working order.
You can plug other equipment into it such as a DVD player or even VHS. Or a Freeview set top box or older Sky box inorder to get digital (terrestrial or satellite) channels on it.
Would look great with a retro games console. PONG! anyone??
Ideal for anyone who wants a retro conversation piece that actually works. I don't recommend it if you don't know exactly what this is - get a flat screen instead.
We need to let this go in order to make space, but hate sending useful (and collectible!) things to the tip.
