This is a Sunbeam postal scale that I used in my office for over 30 years. Maximum weight is 70 ounces (4-3/8 pounds) or 2000 grams (2 Kg). It uses a 9-volt battery or an AC adapter. Let me know if you want the adapter I've used for the same three decades. It's discolored from years of being constantly on and very slightly warm - I only just unplugged it a few days ago. Please state if you want that, otherwise I'll recycle it with Ridwell.
Testing the weight accuracy by lb/oz and by grams, it matches my kitchen scale exactly. However, it was not designed to be exposed to the messiness of cooking and baking so if that's what you want it for, IMO it would need to be operated from the safety of a plastic bag. Just sayin'!
