Vintage Suitcase 1939 or earlier Brown Suitcase Hard Luggage (Hove Park area BN3)

1939 vintage or earlier. Made in Manchester by Kendal Milne & Co.
Leather handle and reinforced edges and corners. Weighs 3 kg.
Dimensions 55 x 38 x 19 cm. COLLECTORS ITEM.
This I believe was used by a relative when she left England at the start of WW2 in Oct 1939 for Australia.
She returned to England across the Atlantic in 1942, and the suitcase has been in the family ever since.
The suitcase is still usable but well worn, the fittings a bit rusty, and the key has been lost.
