Free: Gaeraniums/Pelargoniums (Williton) Expired About a dozen, both zonal (hot colours red and orange) and scented leaf, (pinks) newly-rooted cuttings for tubs, beds, borders. Also a pink begonia and a small box of Cape gooseberry plants.
Free: Fuchsias (Williton) Expired 2 large plants of the small-flowered, hardy Fuchsia 'Pink Pearl' large means about 18"/45cm cubic. Just coming into flower.
Free: Orchid pots (Williton) Expired Clear plastic orchid pots - one 7" diameter, seven at 4" diameter (a couple cracked) and one smaller one, plus one 4" matching saucer.
Free: Tender plants collection (Williton) Expired Cape Gooseberry (edible berries in papery husks) Canna lilies (yellow) at least 6 different zonal and scented leaf Pelargoniums, one Regal Begonia with salmony pink flowers. Canb all be outside during the summer, but bring inside for winter.

Free: Hanging baskets (Williton) Expired Two plastic hanging baskets about 30cm/12" diameter, green slats, chains looking rusty, but all sound. One liner, two bases, - found when springcleaning my greenhouse!
Free: Globe thistle (Williton) Gifted 1 large plant in a sack, grows to 1.5-2m/5-6', handsome silvery dissected leaves, tall flower stems with metallic blue globe-shaped flowerheads, beloved of bees and other pollinating insects. Needs space as it will form a clump. May need staking in windy locations. Architectural plant, will die down in winter to a rosette of leaves, leaving the stems and seedheads to be beautified by frost!
Free: Bay trees (Williton) Expired Baby bay trees, rooted, about half a dozen in a tub. 1 stump of a bay tree, mature, which will sprout from the roots.
Free: fencing (Williton) Expired 18"/45cm high approx green plastic coated wire mesh, decorative fencing, about 10'/3m, suitable to keep people from walking on a lawn or bed beside a path. It has been used, but is in good condition, in a roll which would easily fit on a car seat or in the boot.
Free: Edible plants (Williton) Gifted Silver Cardoon, very decorative, will need staking, will form a clump, grows up to 2m/6' - flowering buds are edible like Globe Artichokes; 2 pots summer fruiting raspberries, a pot of ordinary strawberries, and one baby Kale 'Ragged Jack' May have more variety available on day of collection.
Free: cottage garden plants (Williton) Gifted MORE plants added! to Miniature sisyrhincium (sp?!!!) with blue summer flowers, blue Michaelmas daisy clump - can be split; white ditto, cerinthe (glaucous leaves and secret red flowers beloved of bees) ; St Peterport Daisy, (a rockery or pavement plant) Purple Toadflax (Linaria purpurea) Japanese Anemone (not sure if pink or white) Verbena bonariensis (tall purple); Honeysuckle with Ragged Robin; PLUS Lamium galeobdolon ( a very pretty variegated deadnettle type groundcover with striking spikes of yellow flowers in spring/early summer), Marguerites (tall to 4' + white daisy single with yellow centre, clumpforming, Kniphofia, (red I think) and Iris stoechas blue, with speckles (a medium iris, will grow in partial shade but better in sun, about 18"/45cm high).
Free: Pond irises (Williton) Expired clumps divided every few years off my own, Iris laevigata, I think - fine, dark purple flowers, and Iris versicolour, large frilly blue and white flowers. Bring a waterproof bag or a bucket for transport!
Free: topsoil (Williton) Expired 12 compost sacks partly filled (otherwise too heavy) of friable topsoil incl some leafmould, and 3 partial sacks of less good but usable soil with some aggregate in them good for the base of a rasied bed, for drainage

Free: dried flowers (Williton) Expired half a dozen bunches of seedheads dried, of Welsh poppies (narrow), teasel, Nigella, grasses etc. Ideal for a quick Christmas 'flower' arranging /decoration - you can spray gold, silver, white, or leave natural colour.
Free: Houseplants (Williton) Expired Half a dozen Pelargoniums (used to be called Geraniums) some with variegated leaves; flowers red. And half a dozen Cape Gooseberry plants, producing edible fruit, And two Large leaf Begonias which have large pink flowers; one has bronze leaves.

Free: decorative plants (Williton) Expired variety: Verbena bonariensis, Pheasant Grass, Nepeta cattaria, water irises, variegated Euonymus cuttings rooted, Leycesteria, (pheasant berry), Erigeron karvinskianus, Chinese lanterns (baby plants) Michaelmas daisies (white, and mauve) Alchemilla, Red-vined Sorrel, winter jasmine small, 3 miniature/patio roses, Teasel, Linaria purpurea (purple Toadflax), Aquilegia (Granny bonnets mxd) Scarlet Lychnis. Mostly young plants, some more mature. OK if too much Latin, read: pretty flowers attracting Bees!
Free: Greenhouse/indoor plants (Williton) Expired Cape gooseberries - will grow up to 5 or 6' (1.5-2m) large pale green leaves, small creamy yellow flowers and edible orange fruit inside a papery beige capsule. In South Africa, popular for making jam. Also various Pelargoniums (used to be called Geraniums) plain leaved and variegated with salmon pink/red flowers. Surplus to requirements!
Free: Climbing plants (Williton) Expired Passiflora, Rosa d'Amour (needs support.. Please note: Passion flower vines are VERY vigorous and will spread 4m in one summer. Can be pruned hard, in winter when semi-dormant. Gorgeous white flowers with a purple centre,, and edible, mildly sweet orange skinned fruit. Pull apart when soft, and suck or spoon out the insides - discard the skin. R. d'Amour is an Old Rose, with small pink buttonhole flowers, prolific! Does not need pruning except to keep it inside bounds. You can deadhead to get a second flowering but it is not necessary. Will with supports grow up to a column 2.5m high (8'). Foliage turns red/orange/yellow in autumn.
Free: Packing boxes and paper (Williton) Expired More than 20 flatpack professional and other packing boxes and stacks of packing paper (surplus to requirements!) Boxes small, medium and large.
Free: Three piece suite (Doniford, Watchet) Expired Two-seater settee, two nice comfy armchairs, beige, much loved - suitable for dog owners.
Free: Trundle bed (Doniford, Watchet) Expired Single Bed. may need Allen keys to dis-assemble. Must be collected before 7pm Friday 3rd May!
Free: yacon tubers (Williton) Expired A limited number of Yacon tubers available - Peruvian Ground Pear - treat like a dahlia - plant now in rich welldrained soil, will grow to about 4', handsome leaves; when leaves died down, dig up tubers - smooth black ones to peal and eat, raw, smoothies, or cooked in curries etc.,; bumpy reddish ones to save frost free for next year. Health benefits: look up on line.
Free: Stamp collecting stuff (Williton) Expired One winebox full of old some vintage stamp catalogues, magazines,, vintage albums part-filled, a Strand, A Victory, a Lancaster Looseleaf plus sheaf of loose leaves, bag of stamp hinges, box of used stamps in envelopes, in reasonable but not perfect condition seeing as they are so old. My late Dad's.
Free: Fuchsia (Williton) Gifted Small-flowered WHITE species type fuchsia, think it is 'Ravenswood' - will grow to about 5' high each season, in sun/semi-shade, if cut to the ground every year in late spring. Otherwise let it grow into a small tree. (NB> Prunings are useful as pea-sticks!)
Free: Garden Plants (Williton) Gifted Another miscellaneous collection of cottage garden plants, small shrubs, herbs, annuals, ground cover, climbers - including foxglove, forget me not, French Lavender, southernwood, Japanese Anemone, Bronze Fennel and many more, duplicates or surplus to requirements.
Free: Pussywillow trees (Williton) Expired About a dozen young pussywillow trees from around 45cm/18" to 60cm/2'. Also known as 'sallows' and 'palm'- these trees like a wet/damp environment, stream/riverbank or edge of wet/damp ditch. Will, if not pollarded (cut to ground) annually in late spring, grow to smallish trees c 5m/15'. If pollarded, each year the wands will grow about 3.5m/ 4' and once mature enough to flower, will produce in early spring, those adorable silky fur grey flower buds which give the tree its country name. Not suitable for small gardens unless kept in pots. Ideal for a wild hedge or grove.
Free: Two plug-in skirting board heaters (Williton) Gifted Surplus to requirements - two white skirting board electric heaters, plug in, both working well, can heat a small room quickly. 9" high, 34" long, feet 8" wide spread.
