Lacing Wire (Broughton CH4)

- This is actually wire that is used to tie reinforcing steel bars together. It's about 1mm diameter. I bought this wire to use in our garden, but The Gardener does not like it, as it rusts. As you can see, there are quite a few kgs here.

Washing machine - non-working! (Broughton CH4)

- I'm not really expecting a queue for this item, but I do hate throwing stuff away. I am really breaking my own rules by not repairing this machine myself, but it might be a good project for someone with the skills and the need to save a few pounds. It is an Zanussi ZWF12070W1 6kg 1200rpm and has a broken drum. Looking in the back, the motor, pulley, bearing and other mechanical bits are in perfect order and it has given sterling service for quite a few years. However, the drum assembly unit is available, but does cost £160 and is heavy, so not a repair to be carried out lightly (pun intended).

- I collected this from another kind Freegler, only to discover it was no bigger than the screen of the laptop it was intended for. So, be aware it's only 15.4 inches diagonal. The screen itself is 34cm wide. We've never used it, but it looks in perfect condition.

Bose CD Player (Broughton CH4)

- Bose CD player and FM radio. Large bass speaker and 5 smaller ones to place around the room. All cables, remote controller, external aerial, power supplies and instruction manual. It is a little tempremental. I was given it knowing it occasionally blew an internal fuse. I replaced the fuse with an automatically resetting one, so you don't have to open the case to get it going again. Other than that, it works. It's just not very convenient for our house.
