Request:
Any 38/40mm laminate worktop offcuts (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
Ideally with a post formed curved edge. Any colour/style, just for practicing cutting joints before letting loose on the real thing. Can collect.

10" cake box (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
Unused.

Free:
Bathroom mixer tap (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
Plenty of limescale but otherwise was in fine working order before removal.

Free:
24" computer monitor spares or repairs (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
BenQ G2420HDBL 24" monitor. Up to 1920x1080 resolution DVI input only (but I will include a DVI-HDMI cable). It works perfectly for a few minutes but then suddenly turns off and won't turn back on again until you unplug it for another few minutes. It was stored in a damp loft for a while so perhaps it's to do with that - it worked fine before that.

Free:
Scientific calculator (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
With case. Seems to work.

Request:
Small but working USB stick (>= 1GB) (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
Withdrawn
In case anyone has any lying around that are too small for their needs but that still work. I don't need anything very big at all, 1GB or bigger is fine, but I keep buying new ones and they fail disappointingly early.

Free:
mbed NXP LPC1768 plus bits (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
Gifted
See photo. Barely used. Seems these are still available to buy new at about £60 so convince me that you're going to do something useful/interesting with it and not put it on eBay or have it sit in a drawer for even more years!

You'll have to estimate length/gauge etc. from the photo.

Request:
Old Windows XP era laptop with serial port (Queen Edith's Ward CB1)
Withdrawn
I have an old car with old diagnostic software which only runs on old laptops! And needs an old school RS232 serial port - none of this modern USB nonsense!

Five hooks with a tray above. Approx 50cm long.

Externally in excellent condition but when you plug it in it just constantly loops showing the Apple logo for a few seconds then turning off.
