groceries (West Harlem)
Hi everyone. This is incredibly hard for me to post because I’ve always tried to figure things out on my own, but today I need to ask for help. I’m a single mom of four who recently started working after struggling for a long time to get back on my feet. Unfortunately, my HRA benefits were stolen. I filed a police report, but I was told they won’t be replaced. That left us with almost nothing for food until I get paid this Saturday. Thankfully, two of my children are able to eat breakfast at school each morning, which is one less meal I have to worry about. But I still need help making sure my kids have food for lunch, dinner, and snacks over the next few days. I’ve already gone to the food pantries I’m allowed to use this month, and because I just started my job, I can’t take time off during pantry hours without risking the position I’ve worked so hard to get. I’ve also reached out to the few friends and family I thought I could lean on, but I wasn’t able to get any help. If anyone is willing to help with groceries wether store no guy hot or from your own home, it would mean more than I can express. Every little bit helps, and I promise to pay the kindness forward when I’m in a position to do so. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for not judging a mom who’s simply doing everything she can to keep her children fed. ❤️ I live in West Harlem If anyone is able to help, these are the basics my family could really use just enough to get us through until saturday: * Bread * Milk * Eggs * Juice * Peanut butter * Lunch meat (turkey or ham) * Sliced cheese * Mayonnaise * Rice * Pasta * Pasta sauce * Ground beef or chicken * Hot dogs * Mac & cheese
