If you buy second-hand clothes that need a little repair, or your favourite jeans have ripped (in an unfashionable place) or a seam on your top has come undone, bring your item along for our volunteers to repair.

Boulcott St Repair Café, affiliated to Wellington Central Baptist Church, is part of the worldwide Repair Café movement to cut down on waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Our local volunteer repairers will assess and repair fabric items and sharpen knives. While your item is being repaired, tea and coffee and cold drink are provided. Children with parents are welcome. We have some basic materials on site but if your item for repair needs specific parts (e.g. zip, button) please bring that along. A small donation is appreciated to cover our costs. We generally run our Repair Cafe on the last Saturday of the month from 1pm to 3pm.
