Brent Council is running a 'Sharing Spaces' in South Kilburn on the 17th January at St Luke's Church (Fernhead Rd, London W9 3EH) for different repair initiatives. [Sharing Spaces](https://www.thinkanddocamden.org.uk/sharing-spaces/) are free community spaces, open to everyone, where people can share their stories, ideas, food, skills and things. They are free workshops that often centre around mending/fixing, energy saving and creativity. They aim to help individuals tackle social isolation and the cost of living crisis, whilst driving climate action.
Kilburn Repair Club will be participating at this event alongside other repair groups in Kilburn. There will be a free vegetarian lunch for the fixers and attendees as well!
== Hosted by Kilburn Repair Club ==
Repair Club is driven by making sustainable changes within community. Not only do you get to fix your items for free, but you also learn valuable repair skills alongside volunteers. It’s also a great way to meet your neighbors and support a culture of repair and reuse!
No repair skills? No problem! Come and enjoy some coffee and snacks, watch the repairs in action, and learn a thing or two.
If you're interested in finding out more/volunteering drop us an email at [kilburnrepairclub@gmail.com]. Or find us at St Cuthbert's Church, Fordwych Road, NW2 3TN (event dates listed here)!
