Repair Café: North Cambridge Academy
Sunday, 22 February 2026
13:15 – 15:45
13:15 – 15:45
NCCP’s Repair Cafe is a friendly, non-commercial community event where people can bring broken or damaged items and get help repairing them with the support of experienced, volunteer repairers. Repairs offered on the day include sewing and textile repairs; electrical, mechanical and electronics repairs (including PAT testing); bike repairs; and repairs to items made of ceramics, wood and metal. We may also be able to help with clock cases, some umbrellas, replacing knobs on cooking pot lids, sharpening garden tools, and similar everyday items.
The Repair Café will take place on Sunday 22nd February 2026, from 1:15 to 3:45 pm, at North Cambridge Academy, Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2JF. Bookings are accepted via the Repair Café website or by emailing talk@nccp.org.uk, and drop-in repairs will also be welcome on the day, subject to availability.
All repairs are free, though donations are very welcome to help support the Repair Café and future events. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available — free for repairers, with donations requested from members of the public. The venue is easily accessible by bus, with parking available on Arbury Road, and is suitable for those arriving by bike.
