The Repair Café at the CNIB GTA Community Hub runs from 11 AM to 2 PM. The primary focus of this event is on repairing accessibility devices such as Perkins braillers, white canes, electronic magnifiers, talking and braille watches, and sewing-related repairs. The Repair Café does not charge for repairs, it is free! We encourage individuals to RSVP in advance to secure priority for repairs, although walk-ins are also welcome. While the event primarily serves the blind and visually impaired community, we may accommodate individuals outside of this community based on availability and foot traffic. Future CNIB Repair Café events will be at the CNIB building at 1929 Bayview Ave, a few blocks north of Eglinton Ave.
