A repair cafe as part of Waterbeach Summer at the Beach event held at the Terraces at the Barracks (approx. 500m from the barracks entrance on Denny End Rd).

We expect to be able to repair sewing machines, clothes, electrical and electrical items, bit and bobs, things that need gluing or putting back together and bicycles.

If you have an item you would like repairing please email waterbeach@repaircafe.org.uk to book a slot.

Drop-ins are possible as we'll leave a few slots unreserved but can't guarantee your items will be looked at without a reservation.

The event is free but we welcome donations.

There'll be a fabulous cafe run by Karen and her team of amazing cake bakers.

There is car parking which is nearby but try to cycle or arrive by public transport if you can. The PR5 stops at the entrance to the barracks about 500m from the event site.

This event is run in partnership with Cambridge Carbon Footprint and insured by Wessex Insurance.

Waterbeach is a repair cafe which is usually run once a year, often, in conjunction with the Summer at the Beach art festival. It's been running for several years.
