Shrewsbury Repair Cafe is holding its last repair session of the year this Saturday 16th November at the United Reformed Church in Shrewsbury. It opens at 10.00am for you to bring your items along and closes at 2.00pm.

Do you have a radio that wont work?

Does your favourite jumper have a hole in it?

Has your ornament broken it's leg?

If so, bring it along to the Shrewsbury Repair Cafe and see if it can be repaired. If you can carry it in, the volunteers will assess it for you and see what they can do.

All repairs are done for free (parts have to be paid for) but donations are always gratefully received to cover the ongoing costs.

Refreshments are served throughout the session courtesy of the URC members and parking is available for users of the Repair Cafe at the church. There is full disabled access to the venue.

Shrewsbury Repair Cafe meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10.00am to 2.00pm at the United Reformed Church by English Bridge in the centre of Shrewsbury. A volunteer team of nearly 30 repairers have skills and experience in repairing:

* electrical items
* ornaments
* mechanical items
* clothing
* textiles
* clocks
* hand and power tools
* toys


It is always a busy session so come early to avoid disappointment. Free parking is available in the church car park and refreshments are always served.

If you feel you would like to volunteer, just come along to a session. We always welcome new volunteers, whether you have practical skills as a repairer or want to help in the administration and welcome desk or be a friendly person for our visitors to chat to. All are welcome
