== Hosted by Makers Cabinet Fixers ==
Makers Cabinet is an E London based design business who create high quality drawing and writing tools.
As a business unsatisfied with the lack of longevity with products on the market, we felt compelled to share our ethos on repairing and not replacing the things you own. In our Repair Group we are more than willing to share our knowledge, skills and equipment to empower our local community.
We will host quarterly Repair events where we will invite our MC community and local community to come, bring their broken objects and collaboratively fix their items.
We have an amazing workshop and yard space perfect for a Repair event. We are happy to share any equipment and tools required as long as they are respected and returned to their rightful home. We will also provide tea, coffee and snacks, and potentially some beers towards the end of the day.
Looking for :
More repairers with a variety of fixing skills, especially female fixers! Our previous event was a major success but the space was male dominated. We want to encourage an inclusive, accessible space for all members of our community as at the end of the day, we are here to collaboratively fix our items, reduce landfill and build bridges within our community.
Contact Noah (Founder and Head of Sales at MC) if you have any question or want to assist at our next event: noah@makerscabinet.com
