Welcome to Repair Café Iver!
We are a group of residents tired with the thought of throwing things out that might only need a simple repair. Among our ranks we have speacialists in electronics, textiles and general repairs and are here to help repair your small electricals, clothes, small items of furnature, toys and bicycles and more.
Our aim is not to be a “while you wait” repair service, but to provide an opportunity for members of the community to share skills in fault finding, diagnosing, identifying spares and where possible fix items.
While we bring some common spare parts with us (fuses, plugs, batteries etc..) it would be difficult to have everything on hand given the breadth of items that come our way at a Repair Cafe event. In the case that your item needs a simple replacement, we will aim to help identify the spare part and suggest somewhere to purchase it. We will be happy to help fit it on a subsequent Repair Café date.
Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you have something to repair or not. We will have refreshments available including tea and coffee and would love to see you there!
If you have an item that needs repairing and would like to attend, if you would like more general information or if you are interested in volunteering with us, please send us an email
