The Islington Fixer go north to the Whittington Park Community Repair Association where volunteers fixers will help clients fix broken electrical and electronics to save them from waste.

The focus of the event as usual be skill-sharing, where participants with broken items take an active role in their repair.

We've asked participants not to bring the following to the Repair Party:

* Large battery packs e-bikes, scooters, hoverboards, etc. There's a risk of fire
* Mains pressure washers. We don't have to space where they can be tested - (ie: outdoors with a hose pipe, etc)
* Microwaves. They're extremely high voltage with potentially carcinogenic insulation
* Anything that may contain asbestos as an insulated material. It’s rare, but has happened. (Think 1930/40/50’s kettles etc.)

Our aims are: to help people get their things fixed; upskill the community in repair and create a repair group for the community, run by the community.
