What is on offer?

-REPAIRS available are MENDING of clothing and textiles (yet no alterations) as well as small ELECTRICAL household items such as your toaster, lamp, vacuum cleaner, etc. We don't accept microwaves, though. Assessment and advice for ELECTRONICS will be available as well! General items may be able to be repaired, bring it along and we will have a go.

To accommodate everyone you will be able to see our volunteer repairers for 1 item at a time. If you have more than one item you'd like us to look at and there is enough time, you can register your second item afterwards.

KOHA is gratefully accepted to support the running of these events.

Refreshments will be available.

The Central City Library Repair Cafe is a collaboration between Repair Cafe Aotearoa NZ and the Auckland Central City Library. The repair events take place at the library's Makers Space. We usually offer mending, electrical appliance repair as well as electronics assessment (repair of time allows) as well as general reapir, and sometimes workshops.
