Repair Café: ESHC Bruntsfield
Sunday, 25 May 2025
14:00 – 17:00
14:00 – 17:00
Got something that’s broken? Want to try fixing it but not sure how?
Repair Cafes are free community events where you can bring your item and volunteer fixers will guide you through your repair.
On Sunday May 25th, Repair Cafe Edinburgh will pop-up in Bruntsfield at the Edinburgh Student Housing Coop. Our volunteers will be on hand to help you to repair your broken electrical, electronic and mechanical devices such as toys, small / low-voltage electricals, laptops… we’ll also have experts to help with bicycles, and clothing / fabrics repairs.
Not everything's fixable at our events - we're limited by time, spare parts, safety, capacity - to avoid disappointment we encourage you to contact us beforehand. So if you’ve got something that you want to fix, email us at [repaircafeedinburgh@gmail.com](mailto:repaircafeedinburgh@gmail.com ) to confirm suitability and to reserve your place. Or just turn up on the day and we’ll try to take a look.
Please note: At busy times you might need to wait for a volunteer to become available. Priority will be given to local residents and those with reserved places. The last repair session will begin at 4.30pm to allow time for finishing up.
The ESHC is located on the Bruntsfield Links next to the Golf Tavern with excellent public transport links but very limited parking nearby. Enter from courtyard gate by the bottom of 34 Wrights Houses. From there you will be directed to the courtyard and basement space via signs.
See you there!
