Repair Café: Queensmere Shopping Centre
Saturday, 30 August 2025
11:00 – 14:00
11:00 – 14:00
What to Expect:
* House rules: Please read our [house rules](https://sloughantilitter.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Repair-Cafe-Hous...) before arrival.
* Repairs: Bring one broken item (small household appliance, electronic item, clothing or furniture) and our volunteer repair coaches will try to give it a new lease on life.
* Learn and connect: We believe in hands-on learning and community collaboration. Our repair coaches don’t just fix your item; they guide you through the process and share their knowledge. We encourage you to ask questions and actively participate in the repair.
* No appointment needed! Just drop in. [Pre-registering](https://www.repairmanager.co.uk/PreRegistrationEmail/?code=None&surname=None) your item online helps our volunteers bring the right tools, which can speed up the repair process. However, it does not guarantee immediate service or prioritise you in the queue. While you wait, enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits!
* Donations welcome: Help us keep the Repair Café running by making a donation.
What to Bring:
One item per person. To give everyone a chance, we ask that you bring just one item at a time. If you have multiple items, you’re welcome to rejoin the queue after your first item is repaired.
To ensure we can help you efficiently, please bring any necessary plugs, batteries, or spare parts for your item.
We Can Help With:
* Electric household appliances like blender, hoover, iron, toaster, lamp, sewing machine etc
* Electronics like laptop, radio etc
* Clothing repair (not alterations)
* Wooden furniture
* Basic bicycle repair and safety checks
We Can’t Fix:
* Microwaves
* Broken/cracked screens on laptops/phones
* Clothing alterations (but we can advise you on how to do it yourself!)
* Safety equipment such as car seats and bicycle helmets
