Friday, 26 September 2025
14:00 – 16:00
14:00 – 16:00
Find your Do It Together (DIT) community: repair-inclined neighbors meet in the Burlingame Library Makerspace to informally troubleshoot, disassemble, and diagnose broken things together. What’s wrong with it? How did it break? And is it repairable? (Carry-in only, no oversize items.)
If you have any questions, please email Cynthia at rider@plsinfo.org.
Drop-ins are welcome but registering in advance helps us: [https://bit.ly/itemcheckin.](https://bit.ly/itemcheckin) If you need help filling out the form, call the library at 650-558-7400.

It’s easy! Provide participants with 1) guidance on tools and 2) encouragement to investigate their broken item. Let them talk about how they used it and how it broke. That often provides valuable hints as to what’s wrong. See how much you can do without actually handling the item. Empower the item’s owner to do the troubleshooting and disassembly. Register to be a Fixit Coach [here](https://bit.ly/inpersoncoachsignup).
This program is funded by the Burlingame Library Foundation & the San Mateo County Sustainability Department.
