Repairing Materials, Repairing Relationships

Join Khadijah for a hands-on workshop exploring how to repair our relationship with materials often dismissed as waste. Using handmade paper and creative techniques, you’ll craft your own manifesto imagining new possibilities for these resources. Together, we’ll think beyond consumerist and capitalist frameworks, using conversation, experimentation, and creativity to uncover the hidden potential in what we often discard.

Khadijah is the founder of Generous Waste, a platform which enables us to radically reimagine our world through the transformation of waste. She is a multidisciplinary artist who uses creative practices to invite us to reimagine our possibilities.

Volunteer repairers on hand to help with repairs to electricals, household, garden equipment, toys, computers/phones, clothing and whatever else you might need help with! Also run skill share sessions every few months. Refreshments available so that it makes it a nice place to sit and chat whilst items being looked at.
