Elf Repair Cafe at the Grand Arcade
Saturday, 15 November 2025
13:00 – 16:00
13:00 – 16:00
This Repair Cafe will have a distinctly festive feel with our experienced repairers embracing the tradition of repair for which elves are well known! Repair Cafes match experienced volunteer repairers with people who need stuff fixing. Please bring us your broken toys, festive clothing, Christmas lights and decorations. We’ll also be seeing all the regular items you need mending like electricals, household and garden gadgets, clothing, jewellery etc. We’ll do our best to fix your item but if we can’t, we’ll try and suggest a next step.
Bookings will open 6 weeks before the event. We have some limited walk in slots available. For the times, venues and booking details of other Cambs Repair Cafés, please check the [Cambridge Carbon Footprint](https://cambridgecarbonfootprint.org/what-we-do/repair-cafes/visit-a-repair...) event page.
Please note: we won’t be taking on TVs or microwaves as we won’t have a specialist on the team. And we don’t usually take on mobile phone or tablet repairs as there are several repair businesses nearby.
Our Repair Cafés are free events, but we are grateful for any donations
You’ll find us in 'Mrs Claus' Grotto' on the first floor of the Grand Arcade. Accessibility details (parking, lifts, toilets etc) are [here](https://www.accessable.co.uk/cambridgeshire/cambridgeshire-county-council/a...)

We’re delighted to be partnering with the Grand Arcade and contributing to their ‘Let’s Go Circular’ initiative.
Location
The Grand Arcade, St Andrew’s Street Cambridge CB2 3BJ
== Hosted by Cambridgeshire Repair Cafe Network ==
Repair Cafes are distinct from Restart Parties, but there is considerable overlap, and much to be gained from sharing information. They are co-ordinated from the Netherlands (http://repaircafe.org), and are not in competition with Restart Parties (there's more than enough to fix for us both!)
Repair Cafes tend to be less hi-tech than Restart Parties, though we will tackle computers, laptops, tablets and phones when requested. Repairs are always free, and a cafe (which charges modest prices) is associated with the event, to cater for those who are waiting to be seen.
