Saturday, 18 October 2025
12:00 – 14:00
12:00 – 14:00
Hosted by rePurpose Whidbey
Bring your broken items from home and work with volunteer specialists to make your repairs in the Repair Café. This is a free meeting place where we’ll repair things together as part of a zero waste, circular economy. You’ll find tools, materials and support to help you make the repairs you need on clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, et cetera. You’ll also find expert volunteers, with repair skills in all kinds of fields.
What We'll Fix
We came up with this list of items that we'll fix. But we'll try to fix other things that people bring in:
* Just about everything
* Bikes
* Lamps
* Jewelry
* Frames
* Sculptures
* Ceramics
* Toys
* Torn clothes and stains with patching over (applique)
* Kids clothes that need patching, mending
* Stuffed animals
* Furniture
* Small electric repairs
If you have nothing to repair, you can observe, tinker, take things apart and enjoy the community. Or you can lend a hand with someone else’s repair job.
Site Location: Room 126, and the main courtyard by the mural in the front of the building. Park in front, and access the room through the main courtyard.
